The Procurement Process

1. Order Receipt
This involves mobilizing and collecting orders from foreign parties interested in buying the commodity.
2. Purchasing
This involves sourcing and purchasing of commodities from local markets which includes quality certification at the point of purchase and classification of supplies.
3. Cleaning
Involves separation and sorting of the commodities into the desired grading categories.
4.Bagging
This involves putting the cleaned commodities into sacks for easier transportation.
5. Scaling
This involves weighing the bags to confirm that the required weights are met before they are finally sown.
6. Shipment to Importer
This involves contracting shipping services to deliver the commodities to the designated importers in their home country.
7. Documentation
Involves collation and submission of all export documents and claims for the payments.
8. Payment Receipt
This is the point at which actual payment is being made to the sellers account with the agreed transaction amount and hence the conclusion of a particular export transaction.
